Due to popular demand, the Caloundra Street Fair has launched a brand new fresh produce section to Caloundra’s Sunday favourite.

As people are becoming increasingly self-aware of their environmental footprint, they are continually searching for local and sustainable lifestyle and shopping alternatives.

The new fresh produce section is not only fantastic news for the Caloundra Street Fair, and local consumers but will be great for the region generally.

One of the most efficient means of reducing pollution, supporting local industry, fuelling the local economy and building a stronger community is buying local.

People nowadays are looking for alternatives to supermarkets, and want to support small and local business and the new fresh produce section is the ideal way to go about this.

The fresh produce section will be located on the northside of Minchinton Street, and will be open to locals and tourists alike to dig in and purchase their fresh fruit and vegetables for the week.

This latest addition to the Caloundra Street Fair is in line with a series of changes and initiatives of late to boost the popularity of the Sunday classic and enhance the overall shopping experience in Downtown Caloundra.

The market’s team have also recently begun activating an area specifically for children on the beachside area of Minchinton Street which includes face-painting, a jumping castle, unique stalls designed for kids and photo opportunities with snakes and other reptiles.

The Caloundra Street Fair will also include all of the traditional favourites such as roving entertainment, music and delicious food stalls to make for a great morning out for the whole family.
